Come for the Strategy, Stay for the Spirit: Why Jesus Was the First Unicorn

On Pentecost day, something incredible happened.

People from every nation heard the Gospel—in their own language.
Not just Hebrew or Greek or Aramaic. But heart languages.
Languages of culture, commerce, and daily life.

Two thousand and twenty-five years later, I feel led to do the same:
To speak the Gospel in the language of entrepreneurship.

Because Jesus wasn’t just a healer or teacher.
He was—if we may say so reverently—the most disruptive founder in history.

Here are 14 reflections I posted recently that sparked joy, surprise, and even a few voice note requests. With comments from friends in India and messages from MBA classmates, I realized this wasn’t just fun. It was formation. So let’s break it down—founder-style.

STRATEGY

Jesus didn’t just have a strategy. He was the strategy. His mission plan was ancient, precise, and eternal.

  1. Founders raise funds—but they can’t raise the dead.
Jesus raised Lazarus. Then He raised Himself. Case closed.
  2. His exit strategy? An empty tomb.
Most startups exit with a payout. His exit shook history—and opened heaven.
  3. His profit targets?
What shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul? He flipped ROI into eternal ROI.
  4. His cap table?
Equity: 100% owned by the Father. No dilution. No term sheet negotiations. Just Trinitarian trust.

LEADERSHIP

Jesus didn’t manage. He formed.
His leadership style was full of paradox: servant and sovereign, gentle and fierce.

  1. He was the real MVP – Mary’s Virgin Progeny.
Born of a woman. Filled with wisdom. Baptized in obedience. Heaven’s chosen founder.
  2. He trades our sins for His holiness.
That’s not delegation. That’s divine substitution. Grace-based equity.
  3. He disrupted the world by ascending into heaven.
Talk about a final move that no IPO or press release could top.

MARKETING / SALES

No ad budget. No influencer campaign. Yet His name is known in every nation.

  1. He attracted a billion followers—without a marketing budget.
The Holy Spirit went viral before WiFi was invented.
  2. He didn’t just optimize His “conversion” rate.
His startup saves souls. Not leads. Lives.
  3. Jitin’s addition: He’s an expert in BlockSin Technology.
No sins unaccounted for. Immutable record. Transaction: forgiven.

OPERATIONS

Efficiency? Try walking on water. Feeding 5,000. Healing by touch. And doing it all in three short years.

  1. His business model is asset-light—His followers are the light of the world.
The only startup where the product becomes the distributor.
  2. He reduced His burn rate by reducing the number of people in hell.
That’s eternal cost-saving. Mercy over margins.

HR & FINANCE

He recruited with love. Trained with truth. Empowered with fire.

  1. Guaranteed returns: 30-fold, 60-fold, 100-fold.
You plant in surrender. You reap in eternity.
  2. You might get listed on the New York Stock Exchange—but He’ll list you in the Book of Life.
    Choose your listing wisely.

THE TAKEAWAY

This isn’t just creativity. It’s catechesis.
It’s not just content. It’s consecrated copywriting.

On Pentecost, the Gospel came in many languages.
Today, it comes in founder-speak.

Because maybe—just maybe—your soul is waiting to hear the Good News
in the language of pitch decks, market fit, and conversion funnels.

So come for the strategy.
But stay for the Spirit.
He’s been waiting to fund your heart long before your Series A.

He longs to find you
even more than you long to find product–market fit.
